I have been told by some people who read my offerings (when they have absolutely nothing better to do) that they find my writings are too negative sometimes and that I should try writing positive for a change. To be quite honest I had not noticed that my style had taken a negative bent, but the point was hammered home when someone went so far today to ask me 'Where's the love , man?" "Write from a position of love for once nah."
Okay, point taken, and seeing that I now have more readers than Newsday, I thought I would do the democratic thing and try to write a positive article filled with love.
Here goes.
These are some of the things I love, really love, like, and some that I am positive about:
- I love how Manning sit down quiet quiet in the Parliament and wait to see if Ramlogan really have anything on him. When he, like the rest of the country realized Ramlogan is all hat and no cowboy, he start back talking stupidness again, about Kamla house and how he love all ah we.
I really love how everybody forget that they nearly pelt him with big stone the night the PNM lose, and is the same Kams save him by giving him some security.
I like how Rowley taking one for the side and taking all the love Manning have to give.
I am positive that outside of the PNM nobody want to hear no 'I love you' dotishness from him.
- I love how Ninja Barbie Suruj look like a mook over this whole Reshmi thing, how he had to put he two foot in his big mouth for a change and shut up. I want to ask him, do you believe in God Suruj?
I really love how Fazeer get a better wuk at TV6 and is going to be there laughing at Suruj for a long long time.
I like how they ent mad play they touching Jessie-May.
I am positive that come election time the people waiting to ramajay on his tail like the people in Brazil.
- I love how Kams finally came out and apologize for trying to hoodwink the nation after she realize that we wasn't taking no basket.
I like how Reshmi did the right thing, fire de wuk and ride out.
I really love how Tim look like a fool when he say he didn't know her and the media proved that he did.
I am positive that his fifteen minutes of fame are up.
- I love how Supercop Gibbs keep looking for the same two gun in Laventille while gun renting for chicken & chips money all over town.
I really love how Hafeez son get a slap on he wrist for his battalion of weapons.
I like how the media fraid to touch that one.
I am positive that there have more to that story and someone should be asking questions.
- I love how Nizam show them who is boss again.
I really love how he get them to say that the officers he ignored wont be disciplined for trying to charge him.
I like how people asking how come he wasn't in Parliament of Friday July 27th 1990.
I am positive the Commission of Enquiry waiting to ask him that same question.
- Speaking of that Commission, I love how Panday done start to answer questions nobody ent ask him yet.
I really love how he done say he walking with an associate or a lawyer to de dance.
I like how they wait for Ellis to 'pass on' so he wouldn't a have to answer anything.
I am positive Manning looking for an associate too.
- I love how, hot on the heels of the Justice for Children March, the Minister of Some of the People launched his 'Child Abuse World Tour' to get to the bottom of abuse in the society.
I really love how we never hear nothing more about that from him since.
I like that he knows the people are going to want to know if he kept any of the promises he made when he jump up on the people stage after the same march.
I am positive that this year he going to have to walk with he own stage.
- I love how Andy Johnson threaten to read the riot act to the media in exchange for his State sponsored supper.
I really love how the media just take it just so and cool it.
I like how the electorate not taking it just so.
I am positive that fellas like Andy Johnson, Ken Ali and others go be looking for work soon.
- Finally, I love how the people of Egypt are teaching the whole world what peaceful people power really means.I really love how they not taking nothing less than they are marching for, no negotiation, resign and leave now.
I like how Trinidadians paying close attention to how that works.
I am positive that the Government is paying close attention too.
