Operation Fabrication...

Forcing the people to support a position only because it 'sounds' plausible is not leadership, it is taking advantage of their loyalty, and it reminds me of a joke:

A police officer happened upon a woman sitting in a fishing boat reading a book.

He informed her that fishing season was closed.

She responded that she was not fishing, but was simply sitting there reading a book.

His response to her was that, because she had all the equipment required to fish she could still be charged as no one could be sure of her intentions.

Her response (classic) was that she would in turn report him for attempted rape.

He insisted that he was nowhere near her nor had he attempted to touch her.

She agreed, but pointed out that he did in fact have all the equipment and no one could be absolutely sure of his intentions.

As you must have realized by now, i am no fan of the circus being played out in the public domain commonly referred to as 'Email-Gate.' Don't get me wrong, i am quite sure the personalities in question are more than capable of all that is written in those questionable documents and worse, i just don't believe that those documents are real or are what they say they are, and i don't support how the matter has been handled thus far. My expressed concern has been with the time frames and the explanations given by the Leader of the Opposition to justify it, because they simply just don't add up to the actions of a 'seasoned' politician and an educated man. Regardless of any reservations that he might have had where the authorities of this country are concerned, there are ways in which this could have been handled that would have allowed for a far more convincing outcome. I have called for a verification exercise to authenticate the 'evidence' and until that simple exercise is done i am going to continue to make light of this whole affair and treat it as a joke. If i don't, then i will have no choice but to think of it as a conspiracy, because as much as i believe the government members capable of all manner of Machiavellian shenanigans, I also believe their counterparts in the Opposition more than their able match in that department.

Imagine if you will, evidence propping up as emails that sound plausible questioning the Opposition's involvement in all this, would they still insist on the set up of an international enquiry into THEIR actions?

See where this could go?

I offer the following in jest, as sport, to make an example, to put the matter in a different light and to hopefully get supporters from all sides to arrive at the only rational place to be, the call for the validation of evidence and the authentication of the alleged emails.

Unlike the Leader of the Opposition I DO NOT claim these exchanges to be real or between real individuals, and any resemblance between them and real persons is regretted. This is all satire, a spoof on reality, offered as 'another view' to make a point:

Now to the average person reading this and believing that it sounds like certain people that they may be familiar with they may be tempted to believe this possible because it sounds plausible but i assure you up to ten minutes ago the only place this script existed was in my head. Public policy must never be hinged on something as flimsy as this in my view, and this is the other problem i had with the good leader's presentation, because he knew its authenticity was questionable but he still put it in the public domain to create a stir. To me that is unforgivable and amounts to abuse by politics. This is not where we need to be and perhaps his frustration at being in Opposition may be driving his zealotry, but he needs to be a little more mature than that.
